A member of the House of Representatives Commission VI of the National Awakening Party Faction (PKB), Nasim Khan, proposed the procurement of special train cars for smoking, especially on long -distance trains. He revealed this at the Hearing Meeting (RDP) with the President Director of PT Kereta Api Indonesia on Wednesday (8/20/2025).

Instead of smoking, the community also submitted a proposal about the special carriages of farmers/traders or mini cafes as an alternative rather than just a smoking room. In addition to improving passenger experience, this can also develop far more useful economic potential.
